The second time Samson was more than a man, she was punishing the Philistines. They had taken her promised wife to make her the bride of another. She tied together the tails of 300 foxes. Each was lit with a flame destined for the Philistine crops. Samson watched the food burn, and waited for the counter attack.

The third time Samson was more than a man, she was tied with ropes. She was a willing prisoner being delivered to the angry Philistines. When they came to collect, Samson tore free from her ropes. She slaughtered 1000 Philistines with a single bone from the jaw of a donkey.

The fourth time Samson was more than a man, she had been betrayed by her lover. She lured Samson to her lap to cut her hair. Gone was her supernatural strength. The Philistines captured her. They gouged out her eyes. They took Samson to a temple so that people could gather to laugh while she was made to perform. It was there she beseeched God to grant her divine strength one last time. God granted her wish and Samson tore down the pillars of the temple. No less than 3000 died in a maelstrom of rubble and fury.
